Dry cleaning uses solvent and is best for structured or delicate items — suits, blazers, dresses, silk, wool, and anything labeled 'dry clean only'. The solvent lifts oil and grease without water, which means fabrics keep their shape.
Wash & fold is for everyday washable laundry: t-shirts, underwear, towels, sheets, and casual clothing you'd normally machine wash at home. It is priced by the pound or by the bag.
When in doubt, check the care label or ask at drop-off. At Joy we route each piece to the right process — items are inspected at intake and any 'dry clean only' garments mixed into a wash & fold bag are pulled out and quoted separately.
