Leather, suede and fur each need their own care. None of them respond well to water, household detergents or machine washing.
For leather, wipe with a slightly damp cloth and condition once or twice a year so the hide stays supple. Avoid heaters, direct sun and plastic bags β leather needs to breathe.
For suede, brush gently in one direction with a suede brush to lift dirt. Treat splashes with a suede eraser. Avoid water; if it does get wet, let it dry at room temperature and brush back up the nap.
For fur, store on a wide hanger in a breathable cotton garment bag, away from heat and humidity. Furs benefit from professional cleaning and conditioning periodically β this is specialty work and we quote it at intake.
